Day 66 - Blast... those portion sizes

One thing I've been trying to do has been to keep my portion sizes under control. I think I've been doing a pretty good job of that, however, tonight I faltered a little bit. We had leftover spaghetti and I loaded up my plate. I must have been hungry because I ate it really fast and didn't realize how full I was until afterwards. About 5 minutes after I ate supper, I knew that my portion size was way too big. Well, nothing I can do about it now, except try to remember that feeling next time we have pasta and avoid making that same mistake again. Other than that little setback, today wasn't bad in the food department. No workout today, but I'll probably hop back on the treadmill again tomorrow. So here's to a better day tomorrow.

Here's how today broke down:


Breakfast:
- Cereal
- Fruit Bowl
- Orange juice
- Coffee



Lunch:
- Smart Ones frozen dinner
- Yogurt cup
- Orange
- Water
- Special K mocha bar



Afternoon snack:
- Yogurt cup
- Apple



Supper:
- Spaghetti with meat sauce
- Garlic bread
- Water



Evening Snack:
- Water
- Hard candies (X4)



Workout:
- none

  1. Your pasta portion size lastnight may be my fault...oops...I guess I put too much on the plate. I am still getting used to your smaller sizes but from now on I will make sure they are smaller.

    I also want to thank you for inspiring me to eat better and at least think about jumping on the treadmill. :) I was close to getting a Big Mac last night when I was in town, but thought of you, your hard work and dedication and decided to pass. Together, we can do this...not only for ourselves, but for each other and our children.
