Well... as expected, today wasn't perfect healthy wise, as it was my wife's birthday. We had some cake and spent most of the day together with the kids, which means I didn't get a workout in. I did however fight off that second peice of cake, so there's a mini victory in there. :-) Tomorrow should be another challenge as we're going out for a night on the town to celebrate her birthday again since we have sitters. My goodness it's hard to stay on track... if it's not one thing it's another. :-)
Here's how today broke down:
Breakfast:
- Small bowl of cereal
- Egg on whole wheat toast
- Orange juice
- Coffee
Morning snack:
- Yogurt with berries
- Coffee
Lunch:
- BBQed hamburger (X2)
- Diet coke
Afternoon snack:
- none
Supper:
- Frozen pizza (3 slices)
- Diet coke
- Chocolate fudge cake with cream cheese frosting (1 piece)
Evening Snack:
- Water
- 2 hard candies
Workout:
- none today (sigh)
High 5 on ONE slice of cake! :) It's the small changes we make that matter! :)
ReplyDeleteCelebrations are hard. Tis better to have one slice of cake now then to have 2 or 3. Good job.
