Well, my eating today was all good until we decided to grab something quick for dinner. Yes, sadly enough we brought KFC home for dinner tonight. I've been pretty good at avoiding the fast food joints lately, but I caved tonight. I'll try not to let it become a habit (again). On the positive side of things, I fealt good enough tonight to do a little exercise. I thought I'd start out slow again, so I did a brisk 1 mile walk. Not too strenuous, but it got me sweating, which is the whole point I guess. I'm looking forward to building off that 1 mile.
Here's how today broke down:
Breakfast:
- Instant maple & brown sugar oatmeal
- 1/2 grapefruit
- Orange juice
- Coffee
Lunch:
- Smart Ones frozen dinner
- Orange
- Yogurt cup
- Special K mocha bar
- Water
Afternoon snack:
- Apple
- Yogurt cup
Supper:
- KFC chicken (5 peices)
- Just a few french fries (some with gravy)
- Diet coke
Evening Snack:
- Water
Workout:
- 1 mile walk

ReplyDeleteI don't know much about your home life- but does your family know you are trying to eat healthier? I know having a support team at home helps me stay on track and less likely to grab a fast meal from a drive though. I have not had fast food in over 2 years- and I do not miss it. Mostly because I like to make better versions of it at home, so I can eat MORE of it! lol :)
Yes, my family is aware of my attempts to eat better. However, with everyone being sick lately, neither me nor my wife felt like making dinner last night. Which unfortunately led to a KFC dinner. To make matters worse, it's her birthday this week, so I expect a few cakes, etc will fly though our house. I'm going to have to make an effort to limit my consumption of sweets. Fingers crossed.
