I occasionally get really strong cravings and want to eat everything in sight. My wife and I call it being 'snacky'. Well, tonight I was very snacky. Unfortunately, I didn't do as well as I have been doing at fighting that snackyness and tonights I snacked. I didn't run out to the store and buy chips or chocolate etc, but I did have some treats that were lying around the house. Plus earlier today I was at a BBQ and probably ate a bit too much. Add to that, I didn't get a workout in today and it really was a terrible day. Well, here's hoping tomorrow is better.
Here's how today broke down:
Breakfast:
- 1/2 grapefruit
- Cereal
- Orange juice
- Coffee
Lunch:
- Chicken chili
- Roll (x2)
- Diet coke
Afternoon snack:
- Diet coke
Supper:
- Hamburger (x2)
- Pasta salad
- Cake
- Beer
Evening Snack:
- Hot chocolate
- Cinnomin roll
- Chocolate chip cookie (X2)
- Diet coke (X2)
- Hard candy (X3)
Workout:
- none
When I feel that way I immediately get up and drink a BIG glass of water. Most of the time I'm just thirsty. If I still feel munchie- I pop some air popped popcorn and I eat it slow. I crave salty snacks mostly so that does the trick without being BAD for me. :) Hang in there! You are doing so well!
